Kontiki's Aquatic Life
In this site, the drop-off begins at depths of 7-10 metres and continues to as deep as 42 metres. At the drop-off, divers will find similar rich corals and invertebrates to those seen at the Tambuli Point. Good for night diving because the reef is covered with beautiful hard corals at 10-12m.
Composition: Wall dive starting from 7m going down to 40m
Snorkeling: Good for snorkeling
Experience: Good for beginners and Open Water divers or Higher.
Marine Life: Anglerfish, Black Margin Bull-eyes, Barracudas, Leaf fish, Mandarin fish, Scorpion fishes, Blue ribbon eel, Nudibranches, on night dives you can see spanish dancers and Squid, Larger mid-water fish such as tuna, spanish mackerel, rainbow runners, big barracuda and a large school of sweepers are seen in this area often. |
