Malapascua's Aquatic Life
Not too far from the northernmost tip of the Cebu island, Malapascua is home to beautiful coral gardens and excellent dive spots nearby; including Monad Shoal, an underwater plateau where thresher sharks and manta rays can be sighted on a regular basis. Discovered rather recently in the early 90’s, Malapascua is an unforgettable dive spot to most divers as this is one of the few places where you can reliably sight Thresher Sharks. Mantas, Corals, and even a few wrecks is sure to make your visit to Malapascua a cherished trip. |
