Talima's Aquatic Life
Across from Mactan, this dive site is rich in marine life. A wreckage of a fishing boat in this area can also prove to be a memorable visit in this dive site.
Composition: Slope going to 15m then a wall going down to 40m.
Snorkeling: Good for snorkeling
Experience: For Open Water divers or higher
Marine life: Hard and soft corals, gorgonian sea fans, barrel sponges, Dendrophyllia hard tree corals and Tubastrea cup corals are plentiful in this area. There is a good variety of reef fish in the shallower waters. Soldier Fish, Painted Anglerfish, Squirrel Fish under overhangs, lots of Lion Fish and Scorpion Fish, plus large schools of Jacks, Snappers, Batfish, Lizard Fish, Frog fish, Sweetlips, Moorish idols, catfish and fusiliers.
