White Beach Aquatic Life
Also known as Basdako translates to "big sand" but is more commonly referred to as White Beach. It is in the southwestern coastal area of the island of Cebu.
A quiet place most of the time, but it does get busy on weekends, over summer vacation, and especially during holy week.
Composition: Steep slope with wall dive
Snorkeling: Good for snorkeling
Experience: For Open water divers or higher
Marine life: Soft corals, Gorgonians and sea fans are plentiful in this underwater steep slope. Mid-size fish such as the Long-nose Hawkfish, Ghost Pipefish and Scorpion Fish frequent this area. Daisy coral and Bucket sponges, Two-eyed coral-fish, Checkered snapper, clown fish, Red tooth trigger, Turtle.
